PCMS provide advanced maintenance technologies to a wide cross section of UK mining companies, including UK Coal, Joy Mining Machinery, British Gypsum and Salt Union.
Advanced maintenance technologies are now integrated into the core maintenance activities that are routinely undertaken throughout the UK mining sector. To ensure that maintenance programmes are optimised to deliver maximum benefit at minimum cost, PCMS will either train and support in-house teams or provide direct on- site services.
Our experience gained in other locations enables expert recommendations to be made to ensure that appropriate equipment is used and that new technologies and techniques are fully exploited .
PCMS Services to the mining sector include-
- Supply , training , repairs and recalibration of a wide range of condition monitoring equipment, including the Emerson range of vibration analysers, for which PCMS is an official distributor .
- Undertaking reviews and analyses of maintenance programmes
- Condition assessment of components and equipment
- A comprehensive management of oil and grease samples, including analysis, recommendations, web-based storage of samples and multi-user access of historical records
