Q. What is meant by Reliability Optimisation Solution (ROS) ?
A1. PCMS promotes an integrated, technology based approach to maintenance known as Reliability Optimisation Soution (ROS). The ROS, approach systematically identifies critical equipment assets and applies an optimised maintenance approach to them. This approach has been shown to deliver cost effective increases in plant availability and reliability. PCMS’s integrated condition monitoring, diagnostic, corrective, technologies and experience, are key factors in maintaining successful reliability programmes.

Q. How do we routinely keep contact with PCMS

A2. In all programmes PCMS suggest that a communications ‘Steering Committee’ is established to formulate good channels of communication and provide strategic direction to the programme. The PCMS project manager will attend all Steering Committee meetings.
