Service Engineer
The role of the Service engineer is to operate and/or manage a condition monitoring programme on a day to day basis. This involves the application of a wide range of monitoring techniques including vibration monitoring, oil analysis and machinery performance monitoring. Working in a team environment, the engineer will be responsible for condition monitoring on one or more client sites, both International and UK contracts.
Responsibilities will include condition monitoring data collection, analysis of data collected, interpretation of results and diagnosis of equipment defects, recommending maintenance actions to clients. The work will also involve other onsite troubleshooting and rectification activities, such as in-depth vibration analysis, structural testing, balancing and machinery performance testing.
The work will be home based, but with frequent visits to the clients’ sites and offices. The site work may involve visiting under ground mines.
