PCMS wins £2 Million Nuclear Support Contract
PCMS Engineering Ltd has recently been awarded a £2 Million contract by Sellafield Ltd to provide technical support for its high profile Maintenance Re-engineering Programme. This high profile MRP initiative has two primary objectives –
• Significant Life Time Plan (LTP) efficiency savings
• Understanding and managing the risk profile associated with asset condition during the LTP
The programme will provide new maintenance management and asset management capability across the Sellafield directorates. PCMS’ contract, which will last for four years, was won in open competition and subject to Sellafield’s rigorous selection and scoring procedures . The PCMS Board are proud that this award demonstrates the quality and depth of the company's solutions led approach to Intelligent Maintenance provision. The Contract covers two key work streams within the MRP - Work Management and Maintenance Optimisation and will enable PCMS to work closely with Sellafield’s central engineering team to develop innovative solutions aligned to Sellafield's strategic business objectives.

OMEGA (On-line Monitoring Evaluation and Graphical Analysis) is our easy access web-based platform for clients using the PCMS managed oil analysis service. This service, which is used by major international clients from industrial sectors as diverse as Rail, Nuclear, Mining, Shipping and Pharmaceutical, covers the analysis and interpretation of oil and grease samples from a wide range of industrial plant and equipment.
Launched in 2008, OMEGA enables multiple user-access to results and data stored in our secure data-centre, providing predictive analysis and flexible management information to organisations of all sizes.
